The Civil Rights Arts Project

A new project that I am thrilled about: I have been welcomed into the Civil Rights Arts Project, a company that dramatizes the legacy of the civil rights movement era through theatre, opera, and dance.

Alan Marshall (writer and artisitic director) is based in Chicago, IL and is spreading his work all across the United States. Currently he has troupes in 19 different cities performing at elementary through high schools. He has just recently began to recruit talent in the Twin Cities area.

I am beyond excited to be using my craft to tell such important stories to young and growing minds and to learn so much more about the Civil Rights movement.
